Yes, submissions never close. When no Face-Off is taking entries, your track waits in the pool for the next one, and your place in line is the time you submit. It’s one track per artist at a time, and you can update yours while it waits.

By sound. A music-similarity engine compares how the tracks in the pool actually sound, so tracks that sound alike face each other. Songs face songs, instrumentals face instrumentals, and FERM, a musician and audio engineer, has the final say on every bracket.

Not always. Each bracket holds a limited number of tracks, picked so every matchup is close. A track that doesn’t make one stays in the pool for the next Face-Off automatically, so there’s no need to resubmit.

The crowd votes on every matchup, and FERM locks a hidden pick before each reveal. Together they decide who advances, and results stay sealed until they’re revealed live on stream.

Each division crowns a champion live on stream. Champions earn a place in the Hall of FERM, along with prizes from FERM Factor.
